We noticed white dots grouped on the high hills. At first we thought they were sheep but soon realized they were more likely bags of something. We confirmed our suspicions with two hilarious Irish men outside a village pub. Turf! The locals cut sod and let it sit in bags for a few weeks then haul them to their houses for heating all winter.
